Για την αξιολόγηση των υποψηφιοτήτων συγκεντρώθηκε ένα ευρύ φάσμα ανθρώπων και δεξιοτήτων που είτε είναι ακαδημαϊκοί και εξειδικεύονται σε θέματα ναυτιλίας, διοίκησης και γαλάζιας οικονομίας είτε έχουν εκτενή επαγγελματική εμπειρία και γνώση σε διαφορετικούς τομείς. Οι κριτές σε διαφορετικές ομάδες -ανάλογα με το προς κρίση θέμα- θα αξιολογήσουν και βαθμολογήσουν όλες τις υποψηφιότητες σύμφωνα με την προκήρυξη και θα προτείνουν τις τρεις καλύτερες υποψηφιότητες ανά αντικείμενο/ κατηγορία. Στη συνέχεια η Επιτροπή των κριτών σε ολομέλεια θα αποφασίσει για αυτές που προκρίνονται και πρόκειται να ενισχυθούν ή βραβευτούν. Η απόφαση των κριτών θα βασίζεται μόνο στα υποβληθέντα από τους υποψήφιους στοιχεία και θα είναι τελική και δεν υπάρχει καμία δυνατότητα για ένσταση ή συζήτηση ή έκφραση απόψεων πάνω στη διαδικασία.

Angelos Pantouvakis was born in Athens Greece and studied Civil and Transport Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens, (M.. Eng.) He is at the present Chairman of The European Institute of Shipping and Transport, Chairman of the Hellenic Association of Maritime Economists, acting director and member of the Board in several corporations in the maritime cluster and an active academic in the University of Piraeus, Department of Maritime Studies where he teaches Marketing and Quality of services.
He has extensive experience on managing, consulting and advising profit, non-for profit and governmental agencies (Stock Exchange Listed Corporations, Ministries and Governments) in Service Quality and ISO/ISM issues, Business Process re-engineering, innovative methods of managing people, marketing orientation and optimal sizing etc.

George Sp. Alexandratos was born in Athens in 1973. He is a graduate of Moriatis School, he holds a BSc in shipping business from Plymouth University and MSc in Maritime Policy from Cardiff University.
He is the director of Apollonia Lines S.A., a company founded by his father Spyros in 1974. Since 2013, George established, along with co-partners, a shipping fund called Blue water Maritime Capital focusing to invest in dry bulk shipping.
George is currently the Vice President of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping since 2017 as well as the General Secretary of the Hellenic Short Sea Shipowners Association since 2015. Additionally, from 2016 he had been elected as the Vice President of the Piraeus Marine Club. In the past (2014-2016) he was also the President of the Hellenic Hull Mutual.
He believes very much in synergies and he is a strong supporter of the Maritime Hellas, the official Hellenic Maritime Cluster.

Vasilis Korkidis was born in Piraeus.
He graduated from the Greek-French Piraeus School “Saint Paul”, continued his studies in England at the University of Southampton and got a Bachelor Degree (BSC HONORS) in Shipbuilding and Ship Management. He pursued postgraduate studies with Master’s degrees in Maritime Law (LLM) and International Trade and Transport (MSC).
He manages the two family-owned businesses based in Piraeus, active since 1961 in the import-export of electrical equipment and the supply of shipping and industry.
He has been President of the Hellenic Confederation of Trade and Entrepreneurship, President of the Piraeus Trade Association, Vice President of the Hellenic Institute for Safety and Health at Work, Vice-President of the European Organization of Small and Medium Enterprises (UEAPME), member of the Board of the Regulatory Authority for Ports.
He is the President of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Piraeus, President of the Attica Regional Chamber, President of the Regional Research and Innovation Council, member of the Board of Directors of EuroCommerce, member of the Coastal Transports Council and member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Development Bank. Stavros Meidanis, with over 24 years experience in shipping industry, joined Lloyd’s Register of Shipping (LRS) in 1999 and worked as a Marine Surveyor and Lead Auditor, while in 2008, he was promoted to Global Manager/ Principal Surveyor for Marine Management and Safety Systems for Lloyd’s Register (LR) Group. Participated in various scientific projects related to archaeological geophysics, and undertook a major part of the geophysical investigations for the construction of the Metro of Athens, participated in various NATO SFS Programs, as well as numerous archaeological /geophysical projects and civil construction works.
In 2000, she changed her career to shipping with her employment with the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association – HELMEPA. Within her duties she followed the works of the Committees of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in London.
In 2008 she joint Germanischer Lloyd where she established GL Academy Hellas and later, served as GL Academy Area Manager for Southern Europe. Currently, she is the Regional Maritime Academies Manager, managing all training activities in the Region for DNV for which she is also a trainer. Has been active with scientific papers, articles in various shipping magazines and portals and with a significant presence in national and international conferences as a speaker/panelist, with numerous publications.
She is a Mentor for the students of the MSc in Shipping Management, Department of Maritime Studies, University of Piraeus in the context of their Mentoring Program.
She has served as Secretary General of WISTA Hellas (April 2014 – March 2016) and was awarded with the GIWA (Greek International Women Award) for shipping in April 2021.

ENEA MANAGEMENT INC. is a traditional shipping company of Greek interest that manages a fleet of small sized, clean and specialized tankers. Elpi has been involved in various parts of the company focusing on the operations and chartering of its fleet, as well as business development.
Elpi is an active member of the shipping community and has an ongoing interest in learning and in being updated on latest developments in the industry and she also participates as speaker in conferences and is a contributor in shipping related
magazines.
In her capacity as the President of the Women in Shipping and Trade Association (WISTA) Hellas, she has as a continuous goal to encourage diversity and support the empowerment of women in all sectors of the shipping industry.
Serving as the 2 nd Vice President of the Hellenic Shortsea Shipowners Association (HSSA) she is involved in the promotion and the overall development of the short sea shipping within National and European borders.
She is a member of the board of the Hellenic Maritime Museum, assisting in the preservation of the Maritime History.
Elpi has studied Maritime Business and Maritime Law in Plymouth UK and holds a Masters’ degree in International Transport and Trade from Guildhall University UK.
